Trustee Management Group - Operations Manager
Title: Trustee Management Group - Operations Manager Location: Tennessee-TN-Memphis-TN-Memphis-Memphis Regional Position Summary * Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Trustee Management Group * Manages and directs the daily work flow of the group including goal setting and priorities * Responsible for achieving and maintaining superior customer service levels * Responds to customer questions and resolves issues as appropriate * Provides ongoing direction and feedback to staff * Manages projects and other initiatives as needed * Interacts with SunTrust Treasury Management staff and other SunTrust groups as needed * Occasionally calls on customers and travels as required
Basic Requirements: * At least 3 years experience in operations, treasury management, or banking * Previous experience and/or knowledge in deposit and treasury management products * Strong customer service orientation * Strong project management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects * Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to be persuasive with thoughts and ideas * Strong analytical abilities; ability to translate and interpret financial and customer information * Successful track record of talent management (attracting, developing, managing and retaining teammates) Preferred Requirements: * 7 years experience in operations, treasury management, or banking * Solid knowledge and understanding of core deposit and treasury management, controlled disbursement and account reconciliation services, ACH receipts and disbursements, and lock box & imaging * Previous successful experience in customer service * Demonstrated success in the SunTrust core competencies including: * Drive for results * Organizational Effectiveness * Professional / Managerial Courage * Reasoning & Critical Thinking
