ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:· Works under the direction of the ATOS Project Manager· Coordinates and maintains the company manuals ATOS format.· Responsible for maintaining a common manual format.· Responsible for maintaining the interfaces of manuals and procedures between the various departments.· Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the airline industry. Works in conjunction with the Departmental and Manual OPR's as necessary for the accurate completion and upkeep of the manual system.· Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. OTHER FUNCTIONS:Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) as may be assigned from time to time. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work, in a typical office environment, subject to critical deadlines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.· Two years airline operations experience preferred.· One year Technical writing experience preferred.· Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.· Familiar with FAR 121 and related guidance, airline policies, procedures, and standards.· Proficient in the use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.· Familiarization with desktop publishing software such as Framemaker, Pagemaker, or similar. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to work extra hours when necessary. Some travel may be necessary. Must possess valid drivers license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
