Serves as primary sales contact representing CoramRx to physician's offices and other territorial referral sources.
Assists RDMCs in implementing payor contracts to drive local ""pull-through"" business. Communicates regularly with RDMCs.
Develops territory sales forecasts based on completed profile of assigned physician offices. Responsible for tracking referrals from physicians.
Attends and participates in conferences/exhibits for targeted audiences (i.e. case managers, physicians, nurses, etc.).
Gather and appropriately reports, in pre-approved manner, specified patient health information to assist as requested with treatment, payment, and health care operations.
Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and related company policies at all times. Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
Three to five years previous specialty pharmacy or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills.
Past experience with pharmaceutical, PBM and pharmacy benefits preferred.
Above average level of PC skills.
Energetic and willing to think creatively.
Demonstrated track record in sales/account management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and make relevant general and industry specific periodicals, financial statements, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and presentations materials
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of highly professional managers, clients and customer
Strong analytical, quantitative, mathematical, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability to respond to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks at one time
Exercise excellent judgment in analyzing and responding to customer issues in an ethical manor
Demonstrated business acumen
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Constantly required to travel and spend 60% to 75% of the time actively engaged in field sales activities.
Requires constant standing, walking, and sitting with occasional, kneeling and stooping.
Requires the use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects and the ability to reach with hands and arms.
Constant talking and hearing.
Specific vision requirements include close and distant vision, color vision, night vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposed to outside weather conditions when traveling.
Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
