Job Description Logistics Quality Specialist is responsible for inspecting and resolving discrepancies related to spare parts for Siemens Healthcare 's Invivo & Invitro products.
Essential Functions
1. Perform incoming inspection of purchased materials at the time of receipt 2. Perform inspection of materials from stock based on inputs from customers and suppliers 3. Work directly with suppliers and internal parties to resolve discrepancies and obtain disposition for nonconforming materials in a timely manner.
Other Responsibilities
All employees shall follow safe practices and report all unsafe conditions or practices to their supervisor and/or to the Environmental Health and Safety committee. Logistics Quality Specialist is responsible for the following: - Work closely with Material Planners and Procurement to resolve supplier related issues - Inspect DOA Parts in cooperation with Reverse Logistics and determine if actions are required - Train and monitor outsoursed activities performed in the WDC by third party logistics provider
