Maintenance and Reliability Equipment Engineer, Memphis, TNTitle: Maintenance and Reliability Equipment Engineer, Memphis, TN Location: Tennessee-MEMPHIS PLANT [DUPONT](3431) Solae, Llc., a DuPont joint venture company, has immediate openings for experienced Reliability Engineers to work in the Memphis, TN Soy Protein manufacturing facility. The Reliability Engineers will provide leadership to the maintenance and reliability teams in applying Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques, and implementing Predictive and Preventative Maintenance processes to maximize equipment reliability.
The Reliability Engineers will provide subject matter expertise and technical support on various types of equipment and processes for the Memphis site, as well as leverage their expertise to other sites when needed. These technical experts will lead efforts in the implementation of World Class Maintenance Practices, in accordance with local, federal, state, as well as corporate and site, regulations and policies. They will work to facilitate the consistent use of Reliability tools and use of work orders for scheduling work.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Develop an on-going replacement analysis program for capital equipment based on work order and preventative maintenance histories, reliability performance, and cost; * Establish preventative maintenance schedules to include lubrication, cleaning, oil analysis, vibration monitoring, thermo graphic analysis, ultrasonic detection, frequencies for key process and support equipment (i.e. FMEA), and inspection routines; * Conduct "root cause" failure analysis on chronic maintenance and repair issues and initiate corrective actions to equipment design and/or work practices; * Ensure equipment records are structured to facilitate analysis enabling identification, design, and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades and replacements; * Set long range Preventative and Predictive Maintenance capital planning goals and provide analysis and tracking; * Lead creation of inter-site Life Cycle Cost Based holistic maintenance plans for equipment; * Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown maintenance repairs, including direct supervision of contract maintenance crews; * Coordinate the identification, cost justification, and tracking of plant critical spare parts; * Coordinate revision and development of written mechanical maintenance procedures; * Design process improvements to meet technical needs - including the creation of mass balances, process flow diagrams, and cost estimation for modifying processes; * Lead Major Capital Projects (>$250M) definition and implementation; * Develop and communicate variances and provide improvements in operating standards and equipment to meet DuPont's quality, productivity, and safety goals and initiatives; * Exert personal influence cross functionally to define solutions to technical issues; * Develop Capital Projects justifications, Business Objectives Letters and Lead Process plans for Capital project implementation; * Mentor less experienced engineers; Serve as site representative within both internal and external specialty networks and associations.

Defining Process improvements for FPFQY or productivity 2. Leading Incident Investigations 3. Leading implementation of PSM programs 4. Using RCM, On Stream Time, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, RCFA, and TPM * Ability to communicate effectively and influence change within all levels of personnel * Familiarity with MS Office including Visio, statistics and experimental design, safety practices and policies, quality systems and procedures, SAP systems and capabilities * Six Sigma Green or Black belt strongly preferred.
