Based in a home office in Memphis, TN this independent role will be responsible for managing a three state, $1.5M territory. Through regular visits to customers and target accounts, the Sales Engineer will prospect for new business and strengthen relationships with existing accounts by demonstrating the ability to understand needs, troubleshoot problems, and present solutions to increase sales.  He or she will be responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through close, plus ongoing service of existing accounts.  This position will also coordinate support from technical service to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.  Approximately 25% travel is required.


 


 


 



Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, Chemistry or Business and at least 7 years of industrial or technical sales experience with consumable products such as chemicals, lubricants, water treatment, tooling, spare parts or other related products. Most important is proven sales ability with demonstrated success building business-to-business relationships and a strong desire for long term success. We are looking for an outstanding communicator with a hands-on attitude and hunter’s mentality. Drive, commitment, time management, tenacity and integrity are all important characteristics.


 


Compensation target is $70-100K, depending on level of experience, with base salary and attractive commission program plus auto allowance and full benefits. Please forward resume to
