? Ensure the Cell provides accurate, prompt deliveries to specified locations. See to it that all company requirements are met: labeling, transportation, on time shipping, etc.. Monitor Scorecards to track performance to requirements. ? Coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to make sure material is properly allocated to orders. ? Work closely with our Sales and Marketing Team to properly execute promos, resets, T3 activities and other projects that involve the DC. ? Provide direction for all Cell functions: order picking/packing, material movement, scheduling, shipping, replenishment, housekeeping, supply purchasing, and inventory control. ? Direct Cell employees in hiring, training, development, safety, productivity, and discipline. ? Coordinate with DC Industrial Engineer to identify projects, analyze, and justify capital improvements in the Cell. Also work with IE to plan storage/pick space for new products carried by customer. ? Accountable for maintaining Cell operations within budgetary constraints; analyze costs and implement cost reduction measures. Provide accurate budget and cost forecast data. ? Maintain and track appropriate metrics to track Cell performance: cost, quality, customer service, productivity, etc. Report to Manager monthly on results. ? Responsible for strategic planning and strategic plan implementation in Cell. ? Evaluate employee performance, recommend appropriate disciplinary actions, recommends/maintains adequate staffing levels to respond to fluctuating workloads, and prepares
Requirements:
? Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field. ? Five plus years of progressive supervisory or professional experience in a distribution environment ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated computer literacy.
