Director, Case Managment - Job Code Number: 046 Department: Case Management Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day shift Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Status: Salaried Job Details: This position is responsible for the overall development and administration of Case Management, Social Services and Outside Purchased Medical Services to provide the continuity and integration of activities from point of entry through discharge. Ensures compliance with all organizational, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Bachelor degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Social Services or related healthcare program. Master's Degree desired. Current professional licensure as Registered Nurse, Registered HIM Analyst or Medical Social Worker to work in State of Tennessee. Five (5) years of progressive nursing experience with at least three (3) years administrative/management experience in case management or social services. Knowledge of State and Federal regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements pertaining to medical center functions as work is assigned in the form of broad goals or areas of responsibility and requires incumbent to make many decisions with respect to policies as well as financial and operating plans. Working knowledge of computer systems to coordinate system requirement, enter and retrieve information and generate required data. Demonstrated organizational, management, planning and budgeting skills in dealing with people, problems, issues and information. Demonstrated analytical skills necessary in order to solve technical, clinical, administrative or managerial problems relative to complex plans, systems and programs. Demonstrated communication skills necessary to interpret hospital policies in situations requiring persuasion, prepare and present presentations to hospital senior management, manage the performance of employees within a large or diverse department, or other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skills. Identify with, share in, and display a commitment to the mission, philosophy and objectives of the organization. 3-5 years experience is required
