Description Tell A Friend JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/G.E.D. Two (2) years related clerical experience plus two (2) years experience as an emergency dispatcher required (e.g., fire/ police, alarm central station, emergency related, or fedex security communications). Experience with emergency systems preferred. Ability to operate crt/pc. Ability to complete appropriate training. Ability to type 25 wpm net. Ability to work multiple and varying shifts based on business needs. Excellent human relations and communications skills.
Dispatcher for corporate security department.
Monitors burglar/robbery/fire alarms via phone calls for Memphis and outside the city/state area and dispatches appropriate personnel as necessary.
Monitors the closed circuit television and fire alarm systems and dispatches appropriate personnel when necessary.
Receives, monitors and ensures appropriate response to all incoming emergency, complaint and routine calls to the corporate security department (MEM and field).
Maintains records consistent with established guidelines.
Assists with the use of various emergency/security systems used by FedEx.
