General Manager - Machining Division
Lexicon, Inc. offers a unique capability of fabrication, erection, and mechanical installation services and has a position open for a Machine Shop General Manager. Relocation Package Available, as well as a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in production machining, applying knowledge of machine shop procedures.
Review drawings for each job to ensure accuracy and instructs machinists on each job.
Responsible for quoting machine time for each job.
Order supplies and tools needed to perform the jobs.
Adhere to all company safety and QA/QC policies as well as OSHA regulations.
Perform non essential functions as needed.
Position is located in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Requirements:
Min. of 10 yrs. exp in machining industry.
Must have experience in customer relations, estimating, planning, organizing and directing machine shop operations.
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
Must be able to work Overtime.
May be required to lift up to 80 lbs. occasionally.
RELOCATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE.
High School education or equivalent with an Associate Degree from college or trade school and/or ten years experience as a Machine Shop Manager in a structural environment.
